Bridge Over A Walkway

Chiayi County, Taiwan |

This small town in Chiayi county, Taiwan, has its point of attraction: it is a bridge over a dry-up river and a walkway by its side. There is nothing scenic about walking along a river that has no water, but the sight of a bridge over it (a river of rocks and wild plants) is something out of ordinary.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
- Isaiah 55:8-9(ESV)

Red and White

Lamma Island, Hong Kong |

Continue on with our chase for colour, we hopped on a ferry from Central, Hong Kong to come to Lamma Island—a tiny island located to the southwest of Hong Kong Island. Here we came across this small village house with decorative artwork on the wall, which added an extra flair to a already peaceful and tranquil ambiance of this locale.

Yellow and White

Chiayi County, Taiwan |

Following our chase for colour, we came to Chiayi — a county in southwestern Taiwan. Mostly townships and small villages, Chiayi gives a more down-to-earth look and feel—different from big cities like Taipei. We arrived at the almost end season of the yellow flower of Golden Trumpet tree(風鈴木). Though we missed the full blossom week, yet clusters of yellow flowers can still be found; waiting to be discovered and appreciated.
