Toronto, Canada

Mohammad and his family arrived in Toronto about three months ago from a refugee camp in Lebanon. Since then, we have the privilege of getting to know them and meeting at their apartment every Tuesday night for a potluck dinner. These casual events over a variety of Canadian, Chinese and Middle Eastern food have slowly becoming our time for learning, sharing and starting a friendship that goes beyond language, culture and religion.

Here, Mohammad and his daughter shared a moment together.

Sun Moon Lake

Yuchi Township, Taiwan

All the rivers flow into the sea, but the sea never fills up.

The rivers keep flowing to the same old place, and then start all over and do it again.
